Kazu Tabu is an illustrator emerging from the Los Angeles art scene. Born and raised in Toyota, Japan, Kazu Tabu moved to the U.S. at the age of 19. His work delves deep into the mysteries of the world and explores the bottomless abyss of thought and dreams. his ideas spring from beliefs rooted in his Japanese  heritage, which believes that all things possess a spirit of their own. This spirit makes his surreal illustration come alive and allows people to ponder on the spiritual world that they live in. He wishes to remind people of their spiritual nature.
